Mario Bros & Co. Amigurumi Pattern

Infos :

Don’t forget to use a stitch marker in the first stitch on where the round starts so you can keep track. Keep notes to keep track of the round numbers. Read all the instructions before starting to crochet.

Magic ring :

Crochet the first round of stitches into an adjustable loop. Then, pull the loop tight to close the hole in the middle of your first round. 1. Loop the yarn around your fingers forming an “X” (I use 2). 2. Insert the hook and pull the thread bellow the thread to create a loop. 3. Chain st. 4. Make stitches into the ring. 5. Tighten the ring.

Closing it up :

1. Fasten off and leave long yarn to close the part that we’re crocheting. 2. Using a needle, bring it under the back chain of the stitch only, repeat until you close it. 3. Pull the yarn end to tighten and close the hole. 4. Hide the end inside the amigurumi and cut what’s left.

Once ears are sewn, place the hair piece and sew from the back. Use the leftover thread to embroider eyebrows. Use fabric glue to attach front hair and sideburns if desired.

Cap :

Place cap on head; attach emblem circle and embroidered letter and secure if necessary.
